Hiya I’m Jojo! I’m a freelance food writer and all-round food obsessive. I mess about making my own recipes, reviewing restaurants I’ve been to recently and telling you all about my travels.
I am by no means a perfectionist in the kitchen, I make a mess, the food (almost) always tastes good but is far from professional, and I’m still trying to find good lighting in my kitchen. Food brings people together, especially in times like these, so if I can’t share hugs and face-to-face conversations over the next few months, I’ll settle for recipes instead. I want to make this dreadful time as joyful as possible.
I am currently stuck in bittersweet COVID-19-induced isolation, finally able to commit my time to writing but with a backdrop of stockpiling and store-cupboard recipes. Editing my travel posts currently breaks my heart but I can’t wait for a time when we can all safely explore again.
